It's being reported that a Jennifer Lopez American Idol judge deal is just about official. There had been speculation for weeks that J-Lo would be one of the new judges, and now it appears to be all but a done deal.
The story is being reported by TMZ.com as of earlier this afternoon, and their sources have said this is all business. Apparently there is no reported "drama or diva demands" just "typical negotiating" going on. They're saying that Jennifer Lopez could be announced as an "American Idol" judge as early as next week. Could this be the first step in reviving the American Idol show after a seemingly lackluster season?
I'm kind of liking the idea of Jennifer Lopez being on the show. Adding her to the line-up of Steven Tyler and Randy Jackson is a very smart idea.
I'm still upset that Ellen decided to leave. I thought she brought humor to the show which is something i feel is needed.
